Matthew M. McQuillan joined Spies, Powers & Robinson, P.C. in September of 2007.  Mr. McQuillan earned his Juris Doctor in May of 2007, graduating Cum Laude from Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis.  He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Texas State University-San Marcos with a Minor in Sociology in August of 2002.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. McQuillan gained a valuable litigation perspective while working for a large insurance company in Houston, Texas and Indianapolis, Indiana.  In this capacity, he investigated coverage, property damage/injury, and liability issues surrounding automobile claims.

Furthering his background, Mr. McQuillan worked throughout law school as a law clerk for insurance defense litigation firms in Indianapolis.  In addition, he also served as a law student extern with the American Civil Liberties Union of Indiana, gaining valuable experience in public interests, civil rights, and constitutional legal issues.  Mr. McQuillan was also an articles editor of the Indiana International and Comparative Law Review and a finalist in the Robert Staton Moot Court Competition in 2005.

Upon completion of law school, Mr. McQuillan moved to Denver, Colorado where he began his legal career.
