Priscilla Tomescu joined Spies, Powers & Robinson, P.C. in September 2016. Ms. Tomescu focuses her practice in the areas of civil litigation, insurance defense, and transactional matters. Prior to joining Spies Powers & Robinson, P.C. Ms. Tomescu practiced in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Maintenance (EPCM) industry, particularly involving public-private partnership (P3) agreements and the public transportation sector. She has also been an adjunct professor of a Business Law and Ethics undergraduate course at the University of Denver Daniels College of Business. Ms. Tomescu began her legal career in California, practicing taxation law for a Los Angeles law firm and as pro bono counsel for the Legal Aid Society of Orange County.

Ms. Tomescu is active in the Colorado legal community. She serves as a pro bono Guardian ad litem for the Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center and as a volunteer attorney for Denver Legal Nights. Outside of her legal practice, she sits on the young professionals board of the Special Olympics and coaches a running team for 3rd to 5th grade girls with Girls on the Run.

Ms. Tomescu received a dual degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law with a J.D. and an LL.M. in Taxation. She is licensed to practice law in Colorado and California.
