Greg Moore joined Spies, Powers & Robinson in October 2010, and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2007 while completing an M.A. at the Josef Korbel School of International Studies.
Prior to joining SPR, Mr. Moore worked for a large regional law firm focusing on a variety of complex commercial litigation matters, including disputes in the healthcare, oil & gas, and resource extraction industries. While in law school, Mr. Moore served as the Sutton Editor to the Denver Journal of International Law and Policy and was inducted into the Order of St. Ives for outstanding scholarly achievement.
Mr. Moore co-authored the chapter on “Corporate Social Responsibility and Accountability Under the Alien Tort Claims Act” in The Law of Transnational Business Transactions (West, July 2008).
In addition to his commercial litigation work, Mr. Moore has successfully represented asylum seekers (both political and religious) and victims of torture and on a pro bono basis. He represents an ongoing number of these clients and has an expertise in refugee issues originating in eastern Africa.
Prior to his law career, he was an expedition leader, outdoor guide, and Director of an outdoor adventure learning organization.
